Author Topic: BlockoPaint v0.1 Beta - Make Avatars With No Skill!  (Read 3200 times)

Note - This topic was moved, because I figured it might get more noticed in this forum. :P Hope it doesnt get moved. XD

WARNING
There has been an issue with transparency so the decals will not show up correctly unless edited with software. This issue will be fixed in future released, so as of now just play around creating characters. TY.

Pretty nice.
What did you make this in?

Game Maker 6   :X
Not exactly a pros tool, but gets the job done.

Nifty.
Btw, whats with game maker and Blockland?
First was open Bloxel, now Decal maker. What next?

how do i Export it in to my blockland file i mean my Avatars

Right now there is an issue, so they wont show up correctly. But its getting worked on as we speak. If you press F1 you will get a help file.

Whats coming is:

- Ability to add your own items into the decal maker
- Brushes
- Ability to create shirts too
- Grid Settings

Currently working on:
- New layout
- Bigger and smoother graphics

Heres a sneak pic for the second build:

It refuses to work for me. I click on the icon and then nothing happens.

i refuse to download it until the second version : )

Thats probably wise at this point, since with the new engine it will cut down 22 actions and scripts, but provide more objects. Also this new version provides a more clear and professional result, with all the 44 images freshly ripped, and clearer than before. V2 will also allow you to save more than 1 project, and offer better loading and exporting.

Pretty good, man I've used GM too, A platfroming game, mabye ill post

Heres the graphic sample for next version:

Cleaner, shinier, much more professional. Don't put up with pixels and stretching like on V0.1! :D

Question, do you use the premade stuff in Game Maker or code?
If you code, it would be very kind of you to point me to the nearest tutorial. (or whatever else will help me get started)

Get started doing what? BTW I used a combination. Its split up into code and events. You can string together events, similar to the Wrench Events mod. Or you can extend features and code. 1 line of code exports the image, so its pretty easy.
