half life 2 mod: insurgency

when ever i try to join a server the game crashes at "retrieving server info" what can i do to fix this?

It doesn't crash most of the time. It just takes forever. Just be patient.

I don't know what it is that mods do to make loading times take forever. *looks at Garry's mod*

Also, it's a great mod. I'm probably going to reinstall it after I get my laptop formatted.

Goldeneye: Source doesn't take forever to load, it's fast.

Last time I played it there were only about 2 servers on with less than 5 players. That was some months ago btw.

Wait for the next beta, Beta 3, it will use Orange Box engine, and will prevent hackers more, so yeah, it's pretty fun though.
