Its Aqua dots all over again!! XD

I just saw this commercial advertising a new toy call Pixo dots or something. "Put them on the board. Spray them with water and they stick!." Ring a bell right?.
Well its even funnyier that they said it was "Safety Tested" The commercial even had the same music as the last one.

For those of you that dont know what Aqua dots are. They where a toy thats similiar to the description above. Except it contained high amounts of lead. If you were to eat 1 you would pass out. Eat 2 then it would be overdose and you would die. A few kids died from aqua dots. Its just humorous that they tried to spark up this toy again.

So thats what happened to the commercials. Usually those infomercials go for like 2 months. I saw it for one month then it disappeared, I was like "lolwut" but was glad because that damn music is annoying.

I saw the Pixodots commercial too, and I thought "Didn't they sell this like a year ago?"

Turns out the actual reason for the recall was that the glue component was replaced with one that mimics the effect of rohypnol, the so called date rape drug. If a child ate enough of them, they would induce pale skin, vomiting and even a coma.

Two children in the US and three in Australia were affected, and so they were massively recalled and fixed and are now being resold as "Pixodots".

Kind of, except they're plastic little balls that you put together in designs on a little board, then you spray it with water, wait for it to dry and they stick together.

It was originally called aquadots, then they had a recall because of a daterape thing inside the dots which some kids ate, and then they fixed it and now they sell it as pixodots.
