let's not.
Im porting your post to the Wiistation 360
PS Wii60

I'm pretty sure it's the Playtendo630... I made a picture a while ago, let's see if I can find it...

Anywho, has anyone seen the iTouch Quake port? You could do something like that.

for the 360/ps3 i dont see a point, becasue tis not portable. your computer stays and your xbox360 stays, so the only good thing is
*insert long list here*

Last I checked, Blockland requires something like 5000 keys.  The iphone has one.

You'd have an easier time porting Blockland to the PSP than to an iTouch/Phone. If anyone wants to try, I know some coders at www.acidmods.com that might help. I almost have a whole control sceme mapped out in my head.

Do you mean keys as in buttons? I'm lost...

Blockland usually takes a few hundred megs of RAM. iPhone has <64mb. Never mind the input issues (you need at LEAST 5 axes of input and several buttons), that's a big issue right there.

It might be possible to build some slicko block building app on the iPhone but it wouldn't be the same as what's on the PC.

I think it'd be really cool to have Blockland on the Wii. If only TWii wasn't license-based.

You can easily work out some brick moving system using the right hand remote by pointing it in different directions and crap. Although Blockland would have to be more campaign-focused because I doubt Wii would be able to handle online crap well.

It's not that it wouldn't be able to handle networking people, I think it would have a hard time dealing with large amounts of bricks.  Possibly Age of time for the Wii? :D?

ds blockland would be epic and portable
that way you could have your brick menu on bottom screen and touch the bricks you want and have your normal playing on top

EDIT: oops bump 4got to read dates :panda:
