Author Topic: Is there life after death?  (Read 30569 times)

Out of all the questions in the world, This is the biggest hot potato.
Like, you can't simply float to heaven, Or become non-existent, since well, when you think about it, it's just confusingly impossible!
I believe in two theories.
1.) You'll re-incarnate as another life form.
2.) Your body may be dead, but your consciousness "Is energy" So it can't possibly get killed.

Anyway, Discuss this complicated question.

Once you die your body will begin to be decomposed by enzymes. Once your natural material has been destructed to its lowest state, a variety of cycles will filter the material through the planet. This will be reused a vast number of times until either Man kind disposes the minerals to another planet for oxidation to make it habitable, or a meteor smashes into the planet scattering our resources throughout the universe.

And that's what happens after you die.

Oh, right. Because your brain is magically going to hop into that of another being? I guess people really have a difficult time understanding that everything you perceive as reality is simply electricity going off in your skull.

You go to Heaven or Hell :cookieMonster:

YOU TURN INTO A ZOMBIE GHOST AND WONDER THE WORLD FOREVER WITH PANTS

Besides mine, the best theory so far.

I believe in reincarnation.

When we sleep, our minds drift into an alternative reality, generated by our own minds. We follow these dreams before returning back to the surface of reality when awakened.

Is it not possible that after death, we still dream? but in the post mortal state, one cannot return to reality, never to see real again?

Because most, probably all do not know they have been dreaming until they awake, and are unaware of our own lives while asleep. If what I think is true, We will never actually be able to tell if we have died...

Mr.Smash, What if when you die you just remember yourself BEFORE you died back from the start and repeat all over again?
All of us here could be already dead and are just having memories of when we were alive.

People tell themselves that there's life after death because they can't stand the fact that once they're dead, they're gone forever.

Yes, our lives may be like a film, constantly getting replayed.

After reading my own thoughts, I see a slight problem. I've heard that after death the brain still has a small amount of electrical activity that takes a few months to disperse. I do not know what would happen after that. Would we still dream? or would we just be in darkness?

Or would we be reincarnated or go to heaven or hell?

Can I use "or" any more in this post?
