I'm submitting a request for arch pieces.

That's it. Just some arch blocks like the kind LEGO has had since the beginning of time.

Honestly, it rather amazes me that no one else has requested something so simple, and yet so essential to real lego creations. I mean, I know we've gone a long time without them, making do with slopes, but damn that's awkward. And it's something I'm certain any accomplished mod-maker could easily knock this one out in an hour or two.

Some arches I'd suggest are: (Width x Length x Hight) 1x3x1, 1x4x1, 1x8x3, and 1x5x4 Half Arch. Basically the common lego pieces.

So, anyone interested? And if your answer is "you want it, you build it", then please don't bother posting.

Note to anyone planning on doing this : Please don't. At least hold off until .blb's are sent to the client, probably V9. Otherwise, if you try to join a server that has these, it will disconnect you unless you have them.

My apologies. Not being informed of v9 progress, I didn't, nor could I have known. I should point out, however, that v9 isn't due out for another bloody year and I, for one, would rather not wait that long.

Also, Noone knows when V9 is due, so just have Patience. Until then, use 1x1's and Inverted Ramps.

You realize that making an arch brick doesn't just involve squatting down and stuffting one out right? it's not like a gun where you can spend 2 minutes in Milkshape with the box tool and then slap on a generic gun script and call it a day.

How would you make an arch blocky without infringing on LEGO's trademarks?

I am not a fan of the idea. I know that due to the grid system the  brick would have screwed up collide issues. you would hit invisible walls when trying to go through them. Also as others said, use - ramps.
