Oh Jeeze. So this is your computer, bought with your money, that your cousin gets on? My god man, kick the the little stuff in the nuts! I can't stand it when someone gets on my computer, it's like reading my diary or something (not that I have one, its just a figure of speech). And then your dad thinks he has the power to safe lock it? It's times like this that makes me glad my parents are computer illiterate.
Alright, how about instead of overriding it, simply compromise with your dad, tell him you should be allowed to turn it off, but to turn it on the days your cousin is planned to be there. Win win? :D?
