is i possible to make a mod to where you can acually dig in the ground.
to make it to where every time you dig it just pushes part of the map's ground its self so there isn't a hole that will send you through the map's floor.

In theory, possible, but it would be very inefficient and I have no idea how the information would be transmitted to the clients.

I think that this would be extremely hard to do if not impossible, so therefore it will most likely never be made.

Impossible because the terrain would not update to the clients, therefore if you make a hole, the clients will see flat ground and fall into 'nothing' floating in spot underground, constantly shaking.
If this file gets saved and the client rejoins, he will get automaticly booted off the server for not having the same terrain file.
