I have a dead server even after port forwarding

I port forwarded and my server still shows up dead. What else do I need to do? Anything?

check your fire wall check your port numbers after that idk but this ahs happened to me before you should ask somebody else

Are you leaving the server to check if it's dead?

Make sure you have specified a static IP address to the address you forwarded the ports to.
