Author Topic: Video Compression Suggestions?  (Read 929 times)

I'm Converting Bink (.bik) video to avi. They're like 150kb most as .bik but if I don't select a compression tool in the converter, it comes out 250mb D:

Edit: Just tried "DivX Codec" on a 2,005 KB bik and it came out 2,475 KB...but could I do better?

Why would .47KB's make a difference?

Because now the dam converter won't use DivX anymore for some reason and all the other ones go like 100mb+ for the same file D:

Whats wrong with 100mb? thats pretty small

Ok, I did a bunch of tests. I used the Batch Converter for it and instead of the convert window just disappearing, the batch part showed a "Disk Write Error" and this seems to be for a bunch of the videos, although now all. I can still watch in the converters player, but if I wanna share this...ya

Edit: It seems most won't convert under DivX Codec, suggestions please

Any suggestions for bik converters? I'll settle for any file type as long as it can be played common video players.

Moving videos from games?
