Author Topic: Wii Blockland?  (Read 5468 times)

I know it's probably not possible, but do you think it might be possible? I have to get off of the PC at 9 O'Clock, but I surf the BL forums and always wonder....

Do-able but totally and utterly pointless. If it was to be done it'd take a very long time.

It would actually be EASIER to get it to the 360. Microsoft is supporting Indie games now.

Badspot would be literally rolling in 1000 dollar bills if he made Blockland cost $40 or $50 for internet compatible consoles. Nevertheless, he probobly won't, sigh.

Add to the god damned conversation instead of just saying,"No." God damnit! Noob stupidity knows no bounds.

No.
To your stupid-ass sugestions, this is the correct answer.

1. It is 1 suggestion, 1 suggestion is not suggestions.

2. If you could make 40-50  dollars per disk, on a PC game many can't play on the PC 24/7, but could play in any other room if you have wireless internet connection, wouldn't you do it?

Yes, I am now giving a suggestion and adding to the conversation:

No.

Even if he did ink a great deal for selling the game on a disk for a PC or a console, he wouldn't be able to make $40 or $50 a game. The fact that BL is a niche game and hasn't been widely advertised would give it a low suitable price point (probably about what it is now, $30 max. On top of that, you have the cost of publishing the game (disks don't make themselves) and by no means would BS ever see the big part of what ever small profit margin would exist.

Other problems:

>Blockland requires a complex control scheme for brick placement and player movement which suits PCs over consoles.
>Licensing fees, processing fee's and other restrictions would make getting Blockland onto consoles a lengthy and costly endeavor.
>No add on system on the consoles (Huge disadvantage).

I think it would be nigh on impossible for BS to break even if he ported Blockland to a console.

@-Nick-: forget you.

@Reactor Worker: Sadly, I have to agree with you. Like I said, probably not possible.

THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU POST THIS?

Wow, I have never seen a greater act of stupidity.
