Rockbox is a program for your ipod that gives it a new bootscreen and it enables some programs like Iboy the gameboy game program.
Im to lazy to tell you all the rockbox does but in short your ipod can play games if you use the iboy.
I advise you get it.

I'd like to use rockbox, but I have one of those newfangled 3rd generation iPod nanos with the firmware protection.

Rockbox was awesome, especially playing Doom, although my Ipod was old so it drained the battery a lot. And now it's dead. :D

Sorry for the bump, it also plays doom, and I has counterstrike on it.

Its quite hard but easy at the same time, its over all fun, the buttons are.

Menu - walk forward
Play - Shoot
Select - change weapon
Rewind - Left
Fast Forward - right

The scroll wheel isnt used in it.
