Author Topic: A new zombie mod  (Read 1330 times)

I noticed the zombie mod was ported to v9 ,but was put in the fail bin. Then i remember how the v8 mod was. So I thought of some idea's for a new mod(if any one had plans to make one). Now I will list my ideas.
Zombies- the v8 zombies where all the same, no difference in speed or damage.
Zombie- a basic zombine, walks slow, does normal damage
Fast zombie- runs fast, weak damage
mega zombie- slow movement, hard to kill, large amounts of damage will be down if you get hit
Demon/Deamon- A boss(it fits the theme), he will shoot fire balls at you.
Becoming a zombie or death.
If you died in the v8 zombie mod you became one your self, or if you were killed by a team mate.
lets just say you got attacked by a zombie and escape, and in 1 minute you will become one your self,but if you are attacked by a mob of zombie and are killed by them, you became they're dinner and you are unable to resawn until the round end or a goal is completed, or every one died or became a zombie.

Objectives
to complete a round you would need to task a certain goal or survive.

That......Would.......Be..... ..AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Zombies aren't related to the Devil, let alone demons.

Packers correct. They're more related to Parasites or bio-engineered disease.

i guess it would be awsome but a little more complicated than aim and fire

when the mega zombie attacks it would take some scripting but it would be the "splat" death icon when the mega one crushes you and the demons should be in there but should kill zombies and you so even if you are a zombie you could get killed by an NPC. yes a lot to think about.

I was thinking that you could have a GUI to edit preferences ingame. Along with that is a sort of auto upload feature. You type a command or press a button in the GUI, It saves it temporalrily, When the round is done it waits and reloads the save and then starts the round.

that was my idea but with poison zombie O_O add the normal pnes to if your going to make it and make some zombie maps :P

Original zombie mod for non-retail had fast zombies, they didn't seem to add much, that's why they weren't high priority for the retail version.

Also I'm working on the next version of zombies, I'm aiming for a more "left4dead" feel to it, with a little bit of resident evil 4, and a few other games mixed in.

Expect it sometime before the death of mankind soon.
