Author Topic: Help with Lighting.  (Read 1101 times)

a few days ago, me and Svenne decided that we could tag-team to turn the Blocko Car into the ultimate Rally Racer.

CAUTION: We are NOT releasing this model.

So it turns out the same old problem we get (Using Shaper3D) is that we are directly importing the .dts model directly, but as I have learned from myself and Packer:

When you import a dts the lighting on it gets shat to pieces.

So yah. If anyone knows how to either:

1. Find a .Ms3d model of the Blocko Car,

2, Import the lighting with the .dts (With a different type of Importer)

or 3, Teach me how to create Lighting.

All credit of the Blocko Car is directly pointed towards Kaje.

Thanks alot!

Its not so much the lighting but the shading.

Its not so much the lighting but the shading.

I'll try re-flatshading it again or something.

Also, What about TorqueConstructor? I managed to open up and create a model with that (Without killing the lighting/shading) but I can't export it as a DTS. Any help?

Constructor is a mapping program for creating .difs, like the bedroom and kitchen. It can't export to dts.
It can only use .dts as a reference object, for size, shape, etc.

Bump'd, does anyone have an MS3D file for it?

You'll find that its a 3DS MAX file and I highly doubt Kaje will release it for any reason what so ever.

Bump, does someone know how to flatshade in Shaper3D?

Can someone please help me? My Shaper3D trial expires in 21 days. As imthehunter says were not going to release this.
