Author Topic: Head Lights  (Read 1439 times)

I would like it to have head loght and brake lights that work, so to turn on headlights you type /hlights and for brake lights, well you need to press the brakes which is space. How does it sound?

sounds like a good idea but i cant make on my computer.

no what about like you press l in a velical and it turns on the head light insnad of you normal light :D

There have been 10 page topics all about how this is impossible.

Reasons (that I remember)
    • Lights can't be pointed
    • Emitters could lag

This would be applied directly to the vehicle, no one's going to modify
ALL vehicles. You really think we would do this for someone that wouldn't even work?

Another impossible idea, stop suggesting publically until you understand it privately.
The headlights are quite possible by doing some clever mounting.  It wouldn't be an ideal spotlight but it can be done.

I know putting lights ON the vehicle works, but you can't do, as you said, spotlights where it only goes in one direction.

You could make headlights by mounting DTS shapes and lights to the vehicle. The DTS shapes would be what makes the cone of light.

It wouldn't be functional per se, but it would look cool.

Been suggested, people said that'd be too impractical.

Impractical in what way? I mean, I know its not going to look great, but as far as technical aspects go, it shouldn't be a problem. 2 lights and some DTS shapes isn't going to bring BL to it's knees.

Good idéa when thinking of those dark maps. So you can at least see were your going! ;P

Wrong.
Use a transparent conic shape to simulate the light ray, mount a light to the end of the ray, and what do Emitters have to do with anything?
