OSHT RAM DIED

I had to run a lot of stuff off of 256 MB for the longest time....like pretty much up til last year. It sucked ass.

I feel your pain tails. I was in the same situation. I now has 2 gigs of ram and can play better then I did before the ram Death.

Ok then, that was my point. It just sounded cooler to say "slow as forget" at the end of every post

No it does not. It just makes you sound like a handicap that does not know stuff about computers. For a while I had to run on .5 gig and I was just fine. Hell, I ran 3ds max and Blockland at the same time and did not have a bit of lag besides the reduring the photos in Max.

I'm jsut saying it's not slow stuff, it works fine.

The only time it really lags is when I open A BUNCH OF RAM eating programs.

Sounds normal since just about everything on a computer wants to use all the RAM and not share. Even though a computer is supposed to multitask...it's like finding a perfectly good cake in a playground full of bratty selfish 5 year olds.

That is exactly why what Altiarch  is saying is bullstuff. Computers have backups and defaults they use to save them selves.

LOVE your logic. Now to real life:
I'm talking about running the same amount of loving programs on both computers, one that has 2gb RAM and one that has 512mb RAM. A game... lets say... Battlefield 2. Have fun!
I'm not saying RAM is the only thing that contributes to speed, but you'd have to be one dumb forget to think it has nothing to do with speed.

On second thought, lets just leave it at "I don't know stuff about computers". If I don't know stuff, you must know less than stuff, therefore you're insulting yourself. I'm fine with that.

get what i got Patriot viper ram i got 2 gb on each stick and i got 2 of them they rule dude patriot viper is uber when i turn on my comp. it takes exactly 11 sec to get to desktop >:D
