Author Topic: Pressing my buttons more than once is a sure fire way to piss me off.  (Read 2254 times)

Seriously. When i create a button, and am actively working on its events. It does NOT help for anyone to come and press my button over, and over, and over again.

It.. It just doesn't... Do.. Anything.

when does this happen?

Dude it loving sucks when you are working on something with a lot relays and toggle events and some one does this :/

Just because it is round and red doesn't mean you have to push friends.

I had an epic keypad door in the making and some richardwad comes up and starts having love with the buttons and it got broken, not yet fixed either. :'(

Yeah people do this ALL the time.
It really pisses me off.
Especially if it has to do with explosions, and half your bricks end up dissapearing for a short time.

I got an idea after reading this, if it's just one button, I'm going to set that to kill untill it's finished. :D

The Law of Read Buttons states that in the event that a round red button is in the sight of someone who doesn't know what it does, that person will press it.

Toggle the activate event so its disabled while you are working on the rest of the events and stuff will not get broken by people trying to use it while its not ready.

And if its the fact they are constantly pressing at it when it does nothing that is pissing you off, then you have tolerance issues.

Yeah i hate when people do this, I also hate when the press a button 30 times in a row. What, do they think its gonna do something else?

What I would do is make the button kill them until you are done.

Do it in an off line server...

build a box around you.
