Author Topic: Variable/Conditional Events (V.4)  (Read 61391 times)

This is really confusing.
It will be hard to remember.
LoL sorry, but...
Not downloading.
But I bet it is a EPIC WIN,
though. I guess you deserve a...

Don't change the subject line next time

Update: The new version (V1.1) just makes the events a bit more organised, and not cluttered everywhere. Please redownload. (Although you don't need to, its just a bit tidier)

I'm also adding a tutorial so people can see how easy it is to make some pretty advanced events.

Redownloading immediately will also help with others saving and loading events across other servers.

A suggestion - A way to check a variable and display it in center/bottem print?

Bump for epic add-on.

The new version doesn't work: it doesn't register what I enter in the fields when I click "send". It worked fine in the old version.
Here's some pictures:

This is what I enter with the wrench before clicking "send"

This is what I get after using the wrench again

I wish I didn't have to post, but this addon is too useful to ignore. Variables are essential to any programming language.
Also, I'm just using this account to report this bug, I'm not the "Mr.lol" you might have met online, as I only play with my little brother on LAN (hence why I'm using this account).

I'm not sure, it works perfectly fine for me. I think its something to do with your variable name, try something else, that is simple.

I tried with "a" or "1" and nothing changes. I also have the same problem with the last fields of spawnProjectile (x y z for velocity).

after removing the Event_setAppearance.zip, the error vanished
it seems to have the same problem like Event - Color Player Updated

the only error left, is that error message in my Console

Executing Add-Ons/Event_Variables/server.cs.
WARNING: string maxLength > 200 on class:Player, event:setVariable
WARNING: string maxLength > 200 on class:GameConnection, event:setVariable

and please can you make a example
or post a save file, with some examples

I removed event_setappearance and it works perfectly. Thank you a lot.

This Is Pretty Cool,  But it Would be The Best If you could store The Variables in the bricks.  Also the ability to add one variable to another.
