Author Topic: Variable/Conditional Events (V.4)  (Read 61355 times)

I'm getting page load errors, you might want to fix that.

Never mind maybe it was just my web browser.

You should make a note that when you update your variable events you'll need to re-do your current variables saved to your build.

I tryed the add variable to variable and if variable to variable events and can't seem to get them to work. I was trying to add two variables together and then display one of them in bottem print, But it didn't work.

Also, some of your events seem to go off the screen. Not good

If you can't see all 4 boxes, then you need to use a resolution of atleast 800x600.
As for them not working, I've got them to work.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, that the variables themself do not save, just the events.

Meh, Ill check my resolution tommorow. Right now im on my PSP..

Bump. also, I beleive it was a resolution problem, I changed it to 1060 x something, and it works perfectly.
But I still cant get the event to work the way I want it to. D:
Ill try some other ways.

In that case, whoever made you was an idiot.

lol that's not very nice

wow this is very random uggg bad joke

For your ifVariable, how exactly does that work?

Does it let the rest of the page turn on that isn't?

I don't understand.. Please clarify.

Example:
Let's say the player Bob, he has a var called coins. coins is equal to 3.
Bob encounters a machine, which has the event, ifVariable - Player coins Greaterequal 3.
Well, Bob has 3 coins, so this would work.
Then the input event VariableTrue is called.
This takes away 3 from the variable coins from bob, and gives him 20 health.

In that case, whoever made you was an idiot.

OFF TOPIC...

God isn't an idiot!!! >:O

PHAIL

Useless, not what i'm looking for.

on Player > setVariable make it so the player that clicked/touched or whatever gets the variable. That will make it Useful but it's not useful until you do that.

EDIT
Oh nvm thanks Chrono
