I dominated my circle of the galaxy! >:)

Sure, more than 60% of it is my allies', but I'm building up money and upgrading my ship to go find the (forgot the name) in the center of the galaxy. :D

I'M A FIRIN MAH LAZOR

stuff, last night the game crashed while I was flying around in space. I hope I saved recently...

:/

Cell stage - fun and innovative, miss your chance to get a part though and it's all gone.
Creature stage - very repetitive, not enough DNA to make an awesome creature.
Tribe stage - I found it to be pretty brutal when trying to conquer the other tribes rather than make friends.
Civilization stage - They overdid it with the whole concept of creating your own game and ask you to design a forget load of stuff, this after a while simply bored me out to be honest.
Space stage - dunno.

Tribe stage - I found it to be pretty brutal when trying to conquer the other tribes rather than make friends.

I find waying for them to raid you and then attacking them works. Also, you can choose to use pre-created stuff instead of designing your own if you go into the sporepedia in the editor.

creature stage is the best. and hardest. you try to collect all the parts you can, and earn some DNA between your eggs. there was more interaction wit characters here then space stage has
there is actually a point to using both attacking and allying, different creatures for different needs.
once you get to tribal or civ, you can rush through with all allying, or all conquering. neither one really mattering to how you climb the accomplishment ladder.
once you build your creature, and get up to civ, your creatures stats/parts are pointless. and its like all that time was wasted :(

and i don't really get the point in the vehicle parts having stats. theres only 3 things that matter weapon/speed/health.
and you can easily max out all three on any vehicle first time you build it. because they give you a huge load of money that you dont even need.
there should have been unlocking and finding parts for vehicles, just as creature had.

Im not happy that at civ/space, you no longer have your little guy. they just generic "people" avatars running around the cities for looks. You cant select them or do anything with them, cant even zoom in close enough anymore to see them nicely. things just simplify to much at later game

In one run, I made it to the Space Stage...

Then I had to sleep.

Same here, but i came to a point where i had to restart because i pissed off a really strong nation next to my home world when i was still in the early stages of space.

On my current game im making alot of money by producting and selling rare spice.

Also, in the civ stage, I find it hard to keep track of everything that is happening, especially when you own 3 cities, trading with 2 others and being attacked all at the same time.

Vert, do you not like it? I'll have your copy.

It's not that I don't like Spore, it's more so that it's not as good as it was hyped up to be.

Going from the civilization stage to the space age is like going from Super Mario to EVE Online.

Too.
Complex.

I find space to be a bit repetitive and boring. I'm sure it'll get fun when I get more spucks though.

Space reminds me strongly of Star Control II.
Which is a good thing.
