Greetings people of Blockland. I'm new to this game and have no clue how things work as far as the community goes. I've built a few things on my own and been in a few servers, but they all seemed pretty hectic and I'm not sure exactly what the point of everything is. If someone could steer me in the right direction or towards a good server to get the hang of things with some friendly people, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Find someone you work well with and build things with him/her.
Host your own server and have community builds.
Don't be a jerk because you see everyone else following that trend.
Join servers and see what they are like, if everyone is nice and cooperates well, it's a server you may want
to join again in the future.
If anyone gives you trouble, the easiest way to handle it is to leave the server.
Blockland is that game where you builds stuff, so yeah.
The majority of the blockheads around here have 0 tolerance for newbies and might ban you, insult you, make rooster jokes, etc.
USSR and MotE servers are good to visit to see impressive builds, but again, if you get harassed just leave.

Hope you enjoy the game, welcome to Blockland.

Always read welcome messages and follow any rules in a server. Most servers I find to be good have rules. They are there to keep order and peace.
watch how people build before beginning to build to see and get some good styles of building. Try to use large bricks to keep brick count low.

Only one "rule" from me. Don't make a clan unless you know, yes not just think you know, but know what you are doing. Look at the Pie, USSR, MotE, and other good clans to see what they are like.

Welcome to Blockland. :D

Yeah, be careful around the "veterans" of BL; many older members have very little tolerance for someone still learning the game.

Everything LoserHero said is useful.

Welcome to blockland!

Really, if you run your servers like a Dictatorship. You'll be pretty happy. If someone is annoying you by shooting guns and paint you or just harassing you tell them to STFU. If they don't stop kick or ban them. Its pretty easy and its a confidence booster.

Omega impulse bans a lot. :)
Nice clean happy server.

You sound like a kind of person I would like. Just don't be a jerk, or a Lemurdecataatsdjfioewjgoifdjb giofdj What's his face. Have fun, build good, welcome to Blockland!

Finally a new person :)
Welcome to Blockland! That game where you build stuff.
I like seeing smart-new-players.

Don't spam red bricks, 1x1's 1x1x5's or other small bricks.
Don't referance memes too much or people will hate you.
Don't cookie, Cookie monster, ice cream, panda or nes spam.
Always look for the proper board for your topic.
Don't post your first add-ons unless people say it's really loving good.  People don't include friends, family or anyone else that will just say it to be nice.
Don't bitch about getting banned.  I happens.  Get over it.
Don't simply ask to join a clan until you looked at the clan page and saw that they don't require apps.
Be prepared to be e-raped as the community quikly exposes every little problem with your post.  More people leave because of this.  Get through your first month or 2 and you're fine.
Good Grammar is good.

My supportive post for the day.
