Author Topic: HTML Embed in BBC?  (Read 2430 times)

Is it possible to embed HTML and JavaScript into BBC based forums? (specifically this one, obviously)

I was wondering about this too.

I thought you meant British Broadcasting Corporation, not Bulletin Board Code.

Either way, I don't think you can use Java here. HTML has to be converted to BBC to work, or has to be turned on by the admin(Not sure about this).

Well, BBCode gets turned into HTML, HTML can use java, so I assume it MAY be possible.

You do realize what kind of stuff people can do if posts can use javascript, right?

This is a build in and easy to use administrator feature of phpbb3, though this forum would require some serious moding...

JavaScript

Java and Javascript are completely unrelated, the only thing they have in common is 4 letters.

I was just saying Java as an abbreviation. Excuse me for saving 5 letters.

That just adds to the confusion. Use JS as an abbreviation, like everyone else.

I thought this topic was about BBC TV Station o.o

Keep up, both I and Tails have already said that.

Oh, I'm sorry. I guess I'm just not that deep into the scripting world.

Just trying to educate the masses. :P

It is possible but not going to happen unless you want everything to forget up
