A city below sea level near the coast is a stupid place to have a city.

maybe about 40 more consecutive years of this, people will move away from them areas.

hahaha, exactly my argument against people bitching about global warming.

I live in the Houston area... :(

All our windows are boarded up, schools closed for friday.

Oh well.
Funny, my dad's going to Houston for business.

It was raining cats and dogs yesterday here in southeastern Ohio, it is going to rain tomorrow which I am happy, we needed it.

When it was first settled New Orleans was slightly higher than sea level and it was partially protected from Hurricanes by it's large marshes. But due to water table depletion and man-made destruction of the marshes, the city is extremely vulnerable to the weather.

It was a crappy city in a poor location filled with the scum of the earth. I'd call Katrina a cleansing, but all it did was wash them all the way here to Houston and other surrounding cities. And they brought all their crime and poverty with them. Crime rates went up 50% after Katrina.

Well people should still know the elevation and anyone who stayed in that city when they found it out is handicapped.  But alas, welcome to America.

Ike's special skill is aether which actives both sol(heals health equal to damage done) and luna(neutralizes enemiy's defence).

Omg, my Grandma just told me that the police are telling people to leave, but the people that wont leave just wont listen. So the police tell them to write their name, phone number, and social sequrty number on their arm so they know who they are when they Die

Last part is crazy-old-lady-bullstuff.

Where I live, I don't get hurricanes :D :cookieMonster: just rain.

Every city around the world is at risk of something, whether it be earthquakes in San Francisco, Tornadoes in Kansas or even Hurricanes in the Gulf Coast cities.

Their mistake was being stubborn and not evacuating when they had several day's notice. And then they bitched about their rescue being too slow and something about not having enough chicken food.

And the news is saying that Ike is pretty bad, destroying much and it barely hit. I believe in God, and I think that he is just tryibg to get rid of most of the evil people that moved there. :P

Exactly, but they learned there leason, they said that New Orleans was a ghost town for Gustov. We evacuated and our home was only damaged on the roof, which was just a few shingles missing.

Worst thing that happened here is that tornado that went straight through Atlanta. Buildings are still missing windows because of that.
