Since I don't know where to ask this i though it be o.k. to ask it here.

Is it possible to put a harddrive from compaq into a dell computer?

and if so, how? i got one port for energy that fits on the compaq harddrive and i got a cable that allows to connect both the dell and compaq data cable.
