I've been friends with this guy for years. I've been hanging out in his little group of friends. Only I have encountered a problem. They talk about WoW WAY to much. EVERY loving THING THEY TALK ABOUT IS HOW THEY CHANGED THE FREAKING SPAWN POINT! I can't get a word between "IM A SHADOW PRIEST! I SUCK! I SHOULD AHVE ROLLED AGAIN! *laughter*" and "Bur is too heavily moderated!"
I can't get a work in otherwise!
And If a manage to pull one away away from the rest of the group and try to talk to them about something, they have no idea what Im talking about, all they seem to know is world of warcraft!
this is getting REALLY annoying.
A little while ago I realised this, so I've been attempting to make some new friends that aren't all OMG THEY NERFED PALATINES! only problem-EVEYONE I"VE BEEN ABLE TO TALK TO TALK ABOUT GAMES! Instead of INTERESTING STUFF they talk about halo or stuff like that (I know someone who got a $700 master cheif costume.) I just want to find some group of people with half the brain cells most people have that aren't all into video games. Someone to talk to about other stuff, that's happening in REAL LIFE. In an attempt to find these people, I ahve joined our robotics club, oin the hopes of finding mildly intellegent people. However, I fear they may also be into video games too much.
So, what the hell can I do? I've tried being "One of them" by playing WoW. WoW is not worth $5 a month. its $15. I will not pay this exorbitant fee. Help Please.
