But peace, We don't want the shark walking after us on land now do we.

The shark has to stop moving or turn around and stop chasing people when it touches land. And only chase other people in water.

Yeah, there could be a limit that forbids the shark to go onto land.

im no scriptwriter, but i think that if you make it so that it can only go so far from its spawn point, like say 128 bricks, then all you would have to do it figure out how far that is from the shore and place the spawn there. It would save you from the beaching problem, and the swimming out to sea issue! (win win!)

Would the shark be faster than a player? And would it kill the player in one hit or two or more? But epic win anyways.

I think this is a great idea, i would make it it i knew the torque script or watever it was called...


Thanks everyone. The way I imagine it, it should be the speed of a normal zombie, which is 2 times faster than your speed, and does medium pain amounts until you're dead.

I'll model a shark to keep this rolling.

I've done crocodiles before, only difference is sharks cant go on land (datablock change on exit water - play panic animation - die).
