Dedicated Servers

How do you host dedicated servers?  Does it cost money?  Also I have seen servers with extra features like server messages when yuo first start.  Does that come with hosting dedicated servers?

I was wondering some of this as well.
I had some questions like do you need a second key, how to make sure everything is running correctly, and how to maintain it and what and what not to do.

Heres a screenie of me trying to get blockland dedicated server up.  So It doesn't do anything but that please help.

Uh yeah, that's a dedicated server.

Leave that window up, then open normal Blockland, click Join Game, then Query LAN, then join and use IGSO to change map, server name etc.

Wow, I just noticed that. I wonder, too, who would possibly think to put it in there. The only thing I can think of is all his/her programs are in there, too...which could mean some...major program loading problems?

I dont get why you need to change the place you put blockland in

Low disc space, I wonder if I should change my Blockland from C:\Program Files\Blockland to F:\Program Files\Blockland (And I did put a new Program Files in there since the drive has a total of 300gb)

I was told to put it there, so i just copied it.  I didn't download it to that folder.  I put it there because somebody told me that if i did i could host dedicated servers.

So i tried that and it didn't work.  Megascience says theres major errors and you say its good?  Anyways I posted this to get help and not to be told there major errors, If i didn't know there were errors why would i post the ERROR in the first place?

He said that before he knew you had it in C:/Windows/System32.
There are big problems.  Install it in C:/Program files and we will go from there.

I removed the copy from c/windows/system32 

Before it didn't work like that but now it is.  So thanks for all your help anyways.  Maybe it was being just being a dumb newb.  Thanks a bunch.
