Author Topic: A program....  (Read 1224 times)

At school, my friend told me about this Nvidia program that makes the graphic card run harder for better performance but I forgot what its called. Does anyone know?

You could just use the Nvidia settings that comes with your Nvidia drivers, should be in your taskbar, if not its in system properties. Then go to performance->adjust GPU settings. Also by "running harder" I can only assume you mean overclocking, which does not give you a huge boost in power when it comes to graphics cards. Can also break your graphics card

There's really no 'special program'.
It's just the Nvidia GPU Control Panel that lets you choose options for it, like make your GPU run for higher performance or higher quality, and to regulate if all games get anti-aliasing 8x or only one.

It's really useful, way better than ATIs.

Yeah, my card just went poop last time.

I suggest you only use nTune if you know what you're doing.

I almost fried my card with it. :/

i use "Nhancer"

its not by nvidia, just made for nvidia
i also use EVGA's "Precision"

I have used "Precision" before from Nvidia. It's a really cool tool to use and is fully featured. I have no compelling reason to OC my GPU though... GTX 260 :3
