The limits of the trial are that you only have the first collom of every section where as the full version has all 5.

Oblivion would be 40 for the basic game only, Spore is 50/60ish, you could get creature creator itself as well(It's only one of the creators).

Price's may vary from place to place, Price I put is off of memory and is based on USD.

Take my opinion. Buy Oblivion. You can get MUCH more out of it. I've built up over 10 days of gameplay hours in the last few years. Spore, on the other hand, will limit you to the same story with slight variations in between. You'll get bored 3 days after you buy it.

I've played oblivion for 80+ hours on one character(I have 3 chars)

Spore= 5 hours.

I think you know which one is better.

I have played both and they are both good.  It depends on what you like.
