There are probably integrated chips that perform better than that piece of crap. You'd be throwing your money away.
I think it would still be better then the Integrated Intel GMA 950 that is built in to his computer.

My first card was an x1300 pro, I could play oblivion on medium to high, with epic .ini tweaking (low res, though, as in 800x600, 1024x768 max)

Well there's your problem!

My first card happened to be an ATI Radeon 9600XT 128mb. My dad bought it for me as a B-day present just so I could play BF: Vietnam.

History of cards RW has owned/owns:

ATI Radeon 9600XT
Nvidia Geforce 8800GT
Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+
Nvidia GTX 260

Ninja edit: Yeah, it would be better, but it still isn't worth $100. A 9600 GT is less than $100 and would perform 3-5 times better.

Low res is fine in some games, Oblivion happens to be one of them.

Your monitor must be tiny.   :O

I used to have a 1024x768 monitor, now I'm using a 1280x1024 monitor, and for Christmas I'm getting a 1680x1050 :D

on another note, I just moved to a new case, and the fan is epic huge as well as epic loud and doesn't seem to be controlled by my motherboard well. HOW2FIX, and speedfan or whatever doesn't work.

Thanks guys! Another question with my computer will I be able to run spore?(Memorie is not a problem I got a flash drive with over 160gb of memorie)

That's not how memory works.
And probably on low settings.

That must be a loving huge flash drive. I have never seen a flash drive above 62 GB. Maybe you mean a Hard drive.

I'd need to see your specs first.

@Phone - You can control the case fans through the BIOS assuming you have connected the fan using a 3 pin connector to the motherboard. Usually there will be an identity tag written by each connector on the motherboard like Sysfan1 or Sysfan2. Just remember which one it is and then alter your settings inside the BIOS.

Went into every menu, nothing of the sort.

Well according to the spore system requirements, you would be able to play it, but I suspect it would look terrible/run slow because your computer is barely above the minimum requirements.

Mine: ATI Radeon 9---
ATI Radeon x300
Nvidia Geforce 8500GT

List of video cards I have/had:

GeForce 6150 LE

stuff on a stick (Near literal)

I have the same computer ast Partizan so I know how he feels about it. I have upgraded ram to 2.5 gigs though. That is always something good about it.

ATI Radeon 9550 (At the time, best thing ever. Currently, an integrated graphics card could do better).
GeForce 6800 XT
GeForce 8600 GT (Current)
