Fantastic contraption is a game, were you build to get to a goal.
You have a small blue area, which is the only area you are allowed to build in. The pinkish object that may come in different shapes, has to get to the goal to pass a level.
You can build Clockwise Spinning Wheels, Counter-Clockwise Spinning Wheels, or Unpowered Wheels. You can also create 2 types of rods.
Water Rod: Does not collide with Clockwise, Counter-Clockwise, Unpowered Wheels, or other rods. It does collide with the environment, or terrain.
Wood Rod: Collides with everything, but it stronger than the Water Rod.
If you become a user, you can save your contraptions in levels, and give others links, so they can view your contraptions.

Competition will be updated every once and a while.
The prize is the thought that you won something once in your life, and your proud, or disappointed in yourself for wasting time to make it.
If I have anything to award, I will surely try. Depends on what I have, and the contest difficulty.
Contest 1:
Create the most interesting looking, or functioning contraption. It doesn't need to make it to the goal, and it can be any map.
Contest ends October 17, 2008.
Ex: Crawler, Tank, Plane, human, animal, etc.

Contest 2:
Create a catapult that can fling farther than everyone else. Does not need to complete level.
Contest ends October 20, 2008.
No Winner.
Contest 3:
Create a contraption of any kind. BUT, do not attach anything to the pink object you have to get to the goal. Make a small box, with no top, that is the size of the object to carry it. Needs to be done on the "Up the Stairs" level. Such as this:
