What makes this game so special? Are people wetting themselves over this game just because it was made by VALVe?

In my opinion, it just looks like any other zombie survival game, like Zombie Panic!: Source or even the zombie survival gamemodes on GMod. So please, someone tell me, what makes this game so special?

Where's that rock you've been living under?

It's revolutionary AI, the game is run by an AI Director, who causes zombie attacks of varying intensity at various intervals to cause high and low points, like in a movie. Every time you play the game, it will be different. There's hundreds of spawns, events, and other things to make it awesome.

Also, it's made by VALVe.

Oh holy stuff yeah forget yeah that was so awesome. Played through the demo. Not long, but AWESOME.
