No, not if you think about doing it correctly. Zip ties will keep em in a nice bundle if you put enough of them on. And by that I mean put them on every foot to half a foot.

Preventing them from being tripped on is easy. Just tie them up so the extra cord being held out is not touching the ground and is as little area as possible unless object is moved a lot.

don't fiddle with them constantly that they become brittle and broken up by bending them. Just leaving the wire be will increase the life span.

I don't have a need for wireless mouse or keyboard, except a wireless mouse for my laptop. Because I loving hate touchpads.

Again, being a musician, it's impossible to escape wires. Also, they will be moved and wiggled. That I can not prevent.

My dad brought his old pedals up to my room so we could try them out. Yeah, they're great and all that, but it leaves me with 4 overly long guitar cables sitting around on my floor, tangled around my computer chair.

I set up the computer(s) we use while in a competition. I also am the one who figures out what goes where and why with building the robot. Finding a good place for a wire while trying to keep it at a short distance is a great deal of my work with it.

I'm usually in a rush back and forth with a guitar, amp, and a bag full of gear. Most of this gear consists of power cords and cables.
