First of all, please do not flame this idie, if you say this suggestion is bad, please explain.

back in V0.00002 we had bricks that instad of useing a 1x1 text brick, we could use words that floated above the brick (like player name only shorter reading range), maybe someone can redo this for retail

It didn't. It would only appear if you were close enough to the brick.

It would act just like the player names did, just like it did in v0002 (or v2, if we go by the new version pattern).

It would appear if you were within about 200-300 studs of the player, like the names, further away it would 'blur' then disappear. It would also have an outline like other Blockland fonts.
