For the past few days, Slicksilver555 and Beachbum790 have been working on an elevators mod for Blockland, much like Traders, so far, there is no planned release date.

The progress we have finished for Version 1 is:

Elevator can be made.
Elevator can move from 0-100 up or down.
There are 3 fully functional commands.
-/newElevator name
-/moveElevator name up 0-100
-/moveElevator name down 0-100
One person can ride at a time.
Sadly, there is no model yet, it's just using the GlassA model.


I had a server up (It's still up) and there has been great feedback, people love them.


Hopefully for V2:

Elevators will be made through a / command still
There will be a hope for 2 people to ride
Perhaps a model(!).
The elevator will actually move instead of it just teleporting up.

He was just at my server saying "Oh, the reason I'm not releasing my stuffty elevators is for the simple reason that Impulse events are better. So, please, just lay off. I have the right to make them since he's not. If he had made them, than I would do something else.

This just goes back to the logic that just because you can make something, it doesn't mean you should.  I still have all the old Elevator code from v8, compatible with v9 / v10.  I'm just choosing not to release because stuffty movers are stuffty movers.  I have better plans.

And the model, It's due to the fact that we wanted to make sure they worked properly before continuing.

The reason it's only 1 person ridable is because we wanted them to be only usable by the creator. I'm editing so that more than one person will ride.
