You forget that we are sure about 35-40 states, and which way they are going to go. So really instead of looking at electoral votes, you have to see who's winning the key states.
True. Lemme go check CNN right now at 9:10 PM EST.

Obama - 174
McCain - 49

I say Obama will win, but there's no telling that McCain could jump ahead.
Only 96 more to go.

Obama will secure the West Coast, and considering Cali has 55 votes, I'm pretty sure he is set.

Did he already get California? I think so, but CNN is too busy hogging up their iPhone-Max talking about lesser important senate positions.

I would lol so hard if Nader one, but then I'd be horribly sad because he's a wuss.

I predicted Obama would win back in the primaries, but there is still hope for Mccain. In order for Mccain to win, he has to win either all or all but one of the unsure states. Obama only needs to get one state and its all good for him.

Also, it goes from east to west, and they cant call states until the polls are closed.

Texas + McCain = Big lead.

The south is all for McCain, whereas it seems the North is more for Obama

California+Illinois+All of East Coast= Big Lead

Texas + McCain = Big lead.

McCain will never have a big lead in this election. If he does win, which is in slight chance, he will barely get it. In fact even if he wins, he probably won't secure the popular vote.

OSHT.

Obama is closest with Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, the battleground states.

Only three, though.

HMM I WONDER WHY

Also i shat brix at above post.

Although those votes barely matter as I've been explained. Obama still has much more electoral votes.
(I didn't pay attention in civics, but I just had someone explain this whole thing to me)

Obama won it. He has 200 electoral votes to McCain's 124

Obama has also won out Pennsylvainia.

And New Mexico.

McCain isn't unlucky, he's just winning the wrong states. He spent lots of time campaigning in larger states, but I guess he didn't get through to them.
