Author Topic: CoD4 tips and tricks  (Read 3689 times)

I have recently found myself addicted to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I simply cannot put the controller down without eating through my wrists.
So I was thinking: "Maybe I should start a topic about it, maybe some people could learn something?" And here I am.
Post any Tip, Trick or strategy you know for this beloved game of awsome here. :)

Do you fight close or far away? Tell me your play style, and I'll give you tips.

Don't-
-Use juggernaut
-Use a modded controller
-Spam stun or flash grenades
-Own with an RPG
-Follow someone 3 miles just to kill them (then it turns out you die before you kill him)
=============================================================
Do-

Use everything thats not above to blow away the competition.

Try to shoot people while at the same time try not to get shot.  Or vice versa.

Never thought of that. :o

M16 with red dot sight...

Best.
Gun.
Ever.

I also like a classic, silenced P90.

The guns everyone hates for their awesomeness ;D

It's a team based game, THAT MEANS loving TALK TO YOUR TEAMMATES, DON'T GO RAMBO AND GET US ALL KILLED.

>:O

Gold dragunov= win  ( I has it)

I have all the golden weapons to bad some bastard stole my steam account with COD4.

I like the M4 with a Red Dot, the G3 with no attachments, and the M21/R700.

Two things.

1. Curiosity Killed the cat, and it will kill you - If someone is going into a building, or underground or anything like that. Don't be the curious little monkey and follow them. You WILL get killed.

2. There will always be people who use Juggernaut. In response to this i ALWAYS have Stopping power as a perk on my weapons.

ahh ha.
I learned not to follow people yesterday. Just so happened there was a cleverly placed claymore at the bottem of the ladder I was climbing down, trying to follow some kid and blow his face off.

Also;
I enjoy placing C4 in narrow streets then retreating to an overlooking sniper position. Makes for some well deserved screaming from the victem(s). :D
