I meant it tries to make something real like a real guitar into a fake guitar  dumbass.

Swords are outdated and was used as weapons in the middle ages we already know that and are used in games, roleplay, etc. while guitars are not outdated, and not old.

My point is is that people should go buy a real guitar and play real music. If they want to do something something that doesn't exist or is illegal they should play a game.

Besides that, playing guitar and playing guitar hero are completely different. It's not as easy to just pick up a guitar and play some music, you gotta learn it first, and many don't find that enjoyable, which is what video games are all about.

It's like me saying instead of playing the game Free Running, go outside and do some parkour. First of all, not many have the physical ability to do so, and not many find that enjoyable, yet they can simulate it using the video game, which perhaps is more enjoyable to that certain individual.

The two are different. You gotta learn every video game out there, guitar hero is no exception, but learning guitar hero is nothing like learning real guitar.

That quote is the definition of Free Running (as if the sentence doesn't speak for itself) and you simply took it too literally. "Go where others dare not" in a mental and physical (being in the state of) manner, not anything like trespassing. Also, everything shown and done in the game is legal.

You can't say that one is better than the other. They're HARDLY SIMILAR. One is a game, and one is a musical instrument. They're two totally different experiences. Guitarists can have fun playing GH/RB, and gamers willing to put in some practice can enjoy playing an instrument. Stop comparing them; they're not as similar as you think.
