It's a lot slower.

It seems to vary with everyone. For me, it's much faster, but for a few of my friends it seems to be slower.

Hah. I was talking to my friend, and I was like... "Wow, Xbox is like, strange..."
Conversation went on, he was asking things like "What do you mean?"
Me: "Is your Xbox hooked up to the internet?"
Him: "Yeah."
Me: "Go turn it on."
Him: "Why?"
Me: "To see what I'm talking about."
Minutes later.
Him: "Okay that thing started to download."
Minutes later.
Him: "Okay what did you slip into my drink?"
Me: "It was Microsoft I swear!"

FYI: Installing games only improves the loading times on certain games. Other games like Halo 3 actually have increased load times from it.

Everyone's a single moron?

Not really, because the games still read from the disk.

That would definently improve on Kingom Under Fire, the loading times are rather long. But then again, I would load fast and end up waiting for team members to load. Although sleeping is another story, although I rarely go to learn new skills.

CoD doesn't really need faster loading times.

Not sure about L4D.
