Author Topic: Looking for a good casual game.  (Read 2742 times)

After I got my new computer that's fast enough to load any FPS without making me feel like I'm waiting, I've actually found that I can grow tired of FPS games in any form. At a point, I even find games as fast paced as Trackmania boring. So, at this point, I'm wondering if you know of any good, casual games that are engaging, but not to a point where I really have to really engage myself to a point where I might feel emotion beside interest.

If that makes sense.

I'm willing to spend money on a game.

Maybe Audiosurf.

Look into some indie games.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2...?

You will never feel the true power of Torus Trooper!

owl boy is a closed beta.
i didn't get in. :(

Roguelikes are always good.

clonk doesnt appeal to some, because of the crappy AI and the difficult manuevering. They should fix that and it will be like perfect.Worms is also great over multiplayer, until people get so good that they 'nade you so perfectly that you splode in 2 turns. Ever try mount and blade? Great combat system, i have the trial and i play it over and over again,

Pros:

Combat sytstem
Realistic
Variety of weapons with different advantages and reaches
Horsies :D And you can steal horsies that have been stolen
Kill a bunch of angry farmers to get their village :D

Cons:

Repetitive
*same quests
*battles are relatively the same
*sam-ish weapons
Slow map movement depending on skills and horse
