Author Topic: M4 Carbine Pixel art(?) WIP  (Read 5040 times)

Okay, I don't know if this could be considered pixel art, but with the amount of time it's taking, it seems like it.

And the picture I'm working off of, for reference.

Not exactly pixel art, still pretty cool though.

Update-
Shaded the back and bottom of the grip
Added a bit to the top.
Added detail to the butt.
Cleaned some stuff up.

Double post, sorry.

Cleaned a lot of stuff
shortened the stuff above the trigger
added a trigger
cleaned up the grip.
cleaned up the stock
added a few things

That's an M4 carbine, not an M-16 A2

I was skeptical myself.

Oh well, that's what I get for trusting google images to procure the right gun.

It's disproportional. You drew the stock much too small.

I was worried about that.

I'll redraw it.

Off Topic stuff:
On top M16 A1
M16 A2
M4
On Bottom M16 A4

Colt Model 733:

AR 15:

M16A1 Carbine:

GUU-5/p Carbine:

Ontopic: The picture looks fine to me.

I moved my reference picture into the main picture so I can get scaling right. I'll remove it and all my reference marks when I'm done.

Forgive me for being an ass, but now it's too big in relation to the gun casing.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

The problem was that this time I worked directly off of the picture, while before I was eyeballing it. So now the stock is on picture scale, and the casing is on eyeball it scale. Do you think the old stock is close to scale?

Go in between the two. I'de say closer to the bigger stock though...
