You didn't define which direction.
I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say it was about how straight I am.

Straight as a parabola.

Straight as a parabola.
At what angle?
You didnt say how much it dipped, it could only dip like, a thousandth of a milimeter for all you defined..

Parabola with no real roots.

Photo is obviously shooped, but I'll agree, nature is having her way with us. About time, I say. :D

Also
Parabola with no real roots.
Well played.

It is ignorant to assume that all of the chemicals we are releasing into the air and water isn't having a significant affect on the world.

Sure, they are having an effect. Just not burning of the earth or a huge flood killing us all. I have looked into this before, and I have seen almost indisputable evidence that Global Warming is total stuff. And I reserve the right to have that opinion.

Regardless of global climate change, the effects of pollution are widespread and have a much more dramatic effect on the population of Earth (humans and other animals).

Water and air pollution leads to higher rates of sickness, acid rain which damages structures and reduced populations of animals (like fish) that we rely on for food. Many chemicals which were once considering safe and used widely in fertilizers and the like are now known as carcinogens and are banned throughout the US.

You can have an opinion and you can sit in a box screaming "LA LA LA LA" for the rest of your life if you care to, but you can never escape the fact that every action we take as individuals and as a society can and does have dire consequences.

Just not as exaggerated as many people think.

Just not as exaggerated as many people think.

The only way to motivate the masses is through fear tactics. We know they are effective...just take a gander....

Situation 1: Two planes hit two buildings and the buildings collapse killing a couple of thousand of people....Then the stuff hits the fan and all of sudden there is a need to start a war with Iraq.

Situation 2: 1 kid gets kidnapped last night and the news goes bat crazy over it. Now no kid is allowed to play in the street because of all the cities parents have been broken by fear tactics used by the media.

If the media and scientists and people in power all just said "well, there may be problem and I guess we should check it out" then no one would do anything. If instead you state "THE SEAS WILL RISE AND ENGULF US ALL AS WE COOK TO DEATH" then you might motivate some people to start thinking a little "greener". It may not be the truth, but the truth is never as motivating as the truth out of context.

I do believe that the world could be in danger with all of the pollution, but people who think it's going to happen in like 2 years are loving tree huggers.

because making exaggerated predictions are for hippies?
