I used a balanced pike or whatever it is that has a reach of like 130.

Then my horse was fast enough (lol charger) to get close enough to Khergits to stab them.

And I had a loving huge sword for killing things faster.

never bought a new horse, always had the balanced great sword and whatever bow i could find. normally the nordic bow. Always stole cattle and supplies from villages, its so frikin easy to kill a village of farmers. Just find a flat area on the village and then circle around them and slash em 1 by 1. Its so annoying when you run into something and then you stop and like 10 pitchforks stab you at once. Also whenever i get the tax quest, i never gave any back...i just move onto a kingdom that doesnt hate me :D

I also carry a huge ass sledge hammer. It's good for knocking out troops you might be able to imprison and recruit to your army. :D
