No, you're the handicapped one. You pull the spring back, and when you press the trigger, it pushed air to the barrel to launch the dart.

If it used ALL AIR, it could be used as an air gun too.
BUT, when you shoot it at your face, you barely feel any air.

If you took it apart, you would see the spring-powered clockworking inside to make the barrel roll, rooster, and release the potential energy through one valve.

EDIT: When i say one, i mean the barrel that passes through on the next pull.
