Author Topic: Major Port Forwarding Issue  (Read 912 times)

I'm am getting pissed off with this port forwarding thing. Step 1 says the following:

"Start Internet Explorer. Enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
If nothing happens, try 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.101 or even 192.168.1.102
If it still doesn't go, try this procedure to find your default gateway"

I tried typing all of these into the address bar and nothing shows up except for "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I tried the same thing with Mozilla and still -- nothing happened. Can someone please guide me with a simple tutorial on how to enter this command without getting this bull.

This goes in help

No your doing it wrong. Open run (on start menu) type in cmd then in the cmd type ipconfig

Ok, but I tried that and it just shows my current IP. Can I change that on the command box?
