Do i need to forward my ports to be able to let friends join my game??

Yes, of course you do!

Well, I think you don't need to but you maybe would get several NAT problems yet it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm getting Xbox live for christmas and i didnt wanna forward the ports if i had to, thanks guys.

If you can connect to Xbox Live you should be able to join/have people join your games fine.

K, Thanks, Please if there IS A Change for certain games please post.

if you cant connect wireless, then you can always plug an ethernet cable, 1 end in your xbox, another in your router

Well, my xbox is in my room, my room is above the room thats next to the computer room with the Router, Its a long wire you would need, whats the longest ethernet cord we could get??

You could maybe get one through the walls but that'd be complicating and moneywasting. Just get the wireless antenna and plug it in on the back of the 360.

Also, you don't need to forward ports for 360.

Wireless antenna how much are they, and can they go through thick walls? house used to be a Doctors office so the walls are thicker then normal.

EDIT: The walls are also Plaster.

I just drilled a small hole going to the basement where my router is. My PC, 360, PS3, and Wii are hooked to the router via a switch. Cheaper than buying the wireless doo-dads and buying a new bridge(my old one didn't support Vista 64bit).

My Router Supports a MAc, and i think the Xbox came with a Wire-less Doo-dads in your case, and i don't know if a 360 is Fios Compatiable? (Spelling?)

Well I'd hope your router had a MAC address.

If your Xbox came with a wireless thing why don't you just plug it in and see if it connects?

FiOS is just a type of internet service; there shouldn't be any problems.
