Spring Rain Festival
When spring finds its way into Runes of Magic, Taborea’s inhabitants celebrate with the so-called ‘Spring Rain Festival’. The festival is rooted in an ancient legend and counts as a symbol of the Earth’s rebirth. The legend tells of a traveller named Castor, who, in a time long ago, appeared in a village where the inhabitants were suffering from hunger and were in great need since their harvest had all but failed that year. So the traveller made them a gift of a rainbow egg. In the following spring, the seeds from this brightly coloured egg sprouted with innumerable trees with leaves and blossoms in the most beautiful rainbow colours and the time of misery came to an end. From this time onward, it then became the custom in Taborea that when spring came around, people would exchange brightly coloured rainbow eggs with one another and so remember Castor in the Spring Rain Festival.
Starting today, it offers players a series of adventures to discover and succeed in:
Happy Digging
Once upon a time, in a village in some region of the continent of Kolydia, people led a poor and miserable life, because the earth was barren and nothing could be cultivated. One day a traveler by the name of Castor passed through and he gave the village a handful of seeds to rejuvenate the soil and improve the quality of their lands. To honor this man, the Wabbits at Helen's farm celebrate the Happy Digging and present passing strangers with precious gifts. Only thrice a day the Wabbits go out and show the participants places where to dig. There you may find crystals that can be swapped for great rewards from the Spring Rain Festival Manager.
Stolen Rainbow Eggs
One night Old Agnes witnessed the theft of the Rainbow Eggs. Because her eyes are no longer what they were in the past, she could only guess that the thief looked like a Goblin. Travel to the Outpost Mines, see if you can find the thieves there and bring back the Rainbow Eggs to the people of Logar.
Gather Rainbow Leaves
There is not enough color left to paint all Rainbow-eggs, but we need those eggs to decorate the village for the festival! Please get a magical bag and help gathering Rainbow Leaves from the Rainbow trees near the windmill in Logar. Those leaves are perfect for producing more dye. Climb up the Rainbow Ladder to gather flowers and leaves from the tree. Please note that you need to finish the Stolen Rainbow Eggs quests to acquire the magical bag.
Bring back the Wabbits
Every year at this time, Wabbits hide rainbow eggs under the trees around Silverfall. However, this time there some young Wabbits have lost their way - can you take this box from Kekai and search for them?
Flower Songs
Jaden Angus loves music - can you help him find a number of Flower Song pages the Wabbits have hidden in special Rainbow Eggs? He's got some very special rewards for you.
Region Event - Attack on Sergarth Outpost!
PvP Arena Sets are now available
New Equipment Switch System - characters now have two sets of equipment slots once the secondary class is selected. To help getting started the trainer will give the character a set of newbie equipment for the secondary class.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that caused characters to be unable to exit Wind Wild.
Dragon Mallow Bundle can now be used a Guild contribution as well.
Players can no longer sell 0 diamonds in the Auction House.
Fixed issue causing Gordon Bodyguard and Gordon Marksman to not engage in combat with Blackmane Invader.
Guardians of the Ore: The monsters will now spawn after accepting the quest.
Changes
Improved server performance.
Windrunner Race
The participation fee has been reduced to 15 Phirius Tokens. The rewards have been adjusted accordingly:
1st Place will receive 45 Phirius Tokens
2nd Place will receive 25 Phirius Tokens
3rd Place will receive 15 Phirius Tokens
4th Place will receive 5 Phirius Tokens
The Azure Crossbow Recipe is now Bind on Equip instead of Bind on Pickup.

Negative effects used by monsters in Forsaken Abbey have been modified as follows:
Silenced: changed to 4 second duration
Sticky Art: decreased the damage of Corrode and negative effect of Sticky
Weaken: decreased the negative effect
Adjusted the monster difficulty in the following dungeons so they are more adequate for the dungeon's (and therefore players') level range:

Soul Bond (Priest) has its mana cost reduced to 400 instead of 500.
Battle Monk Stance has been changed as follows:
Base of increasing Defense Value changed to 4% from 2%
Base of decreasing Healing Effect changed to 3% from 5%;
Adjusted effect of each power level.
Gone with the Wind : The duration of this skill has been increased from 3 to 6 seconds.
