Oh wait wrong topic thread lol.

Anyway Crysis was tough for my comp.

I didnty think i'd be able to run it, the only time it dips on high settings is when i zoom in with my sniper.

Resolution is very important.

Any piece of stuff rig can run games at max at 1024x768.

High/Low visually aren't much, if you turn the shaders up then you'll see some "improvements" but other then that there's next to no difference.

Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed.

I honestly don't see how people can get fun out of X3 and X3TC, the series just stopped being fun after X2 damnit.

If that's true then mine must be the stuff of stuff.

Geforce 6200, 1gb Ram, and Pentium 4 2.19ghz.

If your gonna test crysis make sure you enable the hidden ultra settings. search around the net. there are a few custom configs and guides

All I see is better looking water and a brown smog layer over the screen. Pay close attention to the models and such, sure shadows and high res textures are there but there's really nothing that makes it look any better.

...You must be loving blind. The low quality version is ugly as forget.

There are almost no shadows, no self-shadowing, huge obvious blurred textures everywhere (foreground and background), water is a horrid cross between a plastic bag and a mirror, The few trees visible on the opposite hill stick out like a sore thumb and clearly do not reflect the lighting of the scene.

The models themselves (such as the structure visible near the bottom of the screen) feature much less detail and look at lot less natural and a lot more stiff (not a good thing for what is meant to be a rickity old shack).

I'm not sure if you are just angry because you don't have the hardware to play at the higher settings, but using them does make a huge difference in image quality.

I fully agree with Reactor. The low quality half of the image looks like stuff.

Notice the difference in the denseness of trees on the mountain in the background. The grass near the shoreline near the vehicle in the low quality half looks blurred and badly defined.

Also take note of the light shade of the grass in both pictures. The high quality version looks much, much more realistic.

@Sirrus You can tell which ones the game but... holy stuff.

I want my new PC :/.
