now master sword continued is a great mod for half life 1 here's some of the details
    *  Gone from 11 maps, to 50 maps
    * Gone from 2 working spells, and three broken ones to Twenty-Eight fully functional spells
    * Gone from about two dozen weapons, to over 90
    * Added, literally, hundreds of new monsters and NPC's
    * Introduced countless new quests, tweaks, mapper tools, game concepts, mythology, storyline, and all around, just a mess load of more stuff to do
