A reason word games suck is because people can do unrealistic things to you that can't be defended against only because they said so. If I say I cut someone in half with a sword and burn their body, they can't do a damn thing about it. Why? Because they're in two pieces on fire and it's already happend and they couldn't stop it because all of theese attacks come without warning.

Above is an example. What if tater bashes your face in with his foot before you throw him in? Where did you get the nuke? Why can't the nuke be removed? If there is a nuke attached to him, how are you able to lift him up and throw him into a lava pit? Do you really believe you can outrun a nuclear explosion on foot? Why can't the nuke be destroied? You just say this because you want to be sure they have no way of survival and you survive without a scratch.
Another problem is that people find ways of coming back from the dead easily. Sam provided examples of thise quite nicely as well. To show one:

I thought heaven is a place you stayed at forever. I didn't know there was an end to it. Also, how did you get a new body?
